Monday was one of my favourite holidays of the year, Australia Day! I celebrated the traditional way with too much food, beach, BBQs and all day bathers.

38 degree days mean wearing the comfiest and loosest shorts in my wardrobe! Plus I love the colour of these chambray shorts.

Well earlier last year I decided to finally start dressing for myself as before I’d always dressed for friends or in what I thought were the latest trends. I’ve always had a love for fashion but was too scared to dress how I liked. But once I started I felt more confident and people began complimenting my style. In November last year after reading and stalking heaps of fashion blogs, I decided to start my own blog and to show you don’t have to wear high heels 24/7 or spend thousands of dollars to look stylish.
Very minimal! I’m a massive fan of wardrobe staples and neutral clours. Although I still love the occasional crazy patterned piece of clothing. Last year I brought a t-shirt covered in mini T-Rexs and it is one of my favourite t-shirts I have ever owned!!
I love how positive everyone has been, when I first started my blog I was worried I was going to get heaps of critical comments! But I haven’t had any at all!
Jeans!! I ‘m addicted to denim, I find denim jackets, shirts, shorts etc.. always bring an element of effortless cool to an outfit. My favourite type of denim is vintage style denim!
Have to be that they don’t take themselves too seriously!
Food! ( if you food can be a hobby) I love cooking for my friends and family, reading new recipes, talking about food and trying new food. Yeah I’m pretty obsessed!
Style wise I’d say winter! Nothing like layering up in jumpers, jeans, and scarfs. I find it is far easier to be stylish in winter.
Depends the situations, I’m shy with new ppl, but once I get to know someone I’m very chatty!
General I mostly read crime, but at the moment I’m reading Man Repeller by LeandraMedine. I think it’s a must read for all lovers of fashion!
That’s a hard one!!! So many places want to visit, but since my last few holidays were fast paced exploring ones, I d have to say the Fiji islands. I’d love spend the day just chilling at the beach or snorkelling on the reef.

It was 35 degrees in Perth today, so it was a bad day to wear all black to work. However I love a simple black outfit, the white sneakers bring a slight urban edge to the outfit. The bag I’m wearing is my current new obsession, its mixture of denim and leather is a twist on the normal leather pouches.

I am a fan of keeping my outfits rather minimal looking, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear patterns. I am a massive lover of stripes! they are and probably always will be my go to pattern. I often find pairing two contrasting patterns such as stripes and leopard, makes each individual pattern stand out better. Although be warned a hint of leopard is all you ever need!
